Mr. Wilcox is President of the Wilcox Family Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to collaborating with other non-profits to find and promote sustainable solutions to the issues affecting poor, underserved and underrepresented communities. The solutions currently funded are in the areas of mental health, education and employment. The Foundation’s goal is to improve the lives of individuals and families living in marginalized communities. Mr. Wilcox is a former senior executive of Accenture, LLP where he spent 28 years working with clients on their technology and outsourcing needs. After leaving Accenture in 2008, he “un-retired” in 2017 joining the Diocese of Oakland as Chancellor before his final retirement in 2021. Steve serves on several non-profit boards primarily in the Bay Area and western US. Steve is a veteran of “So Do You Think You Can Dance - Reach for the Stars”. He appeared with Jim Davis in 2019 in a revival of “Putting on The Ritz” from Young Frankenstein. Steve and his wife, Peg, are residents of Danville. They both continued to be inspired by the leadership at Connections House most notably Tamara Hunter; who has been a great advocate, resource and true coalition builder in the community.
